# Multiple Job openings: Data Engineers, ML Scientists / Engineers

## Project description
We have multiple job openings for R&D projects around AI / ML and are currently hiring junior data engineers and senior machine learning scientists/engineers in two different projects starting 02/2025 and 03/2025. Both projects aim at leveraging SOTA machine learning algorithms in the fields of AI Safety and Collective Intelligence. We offer a competitive salary on university level, an international growing research team (read more here: www.gaia-lab.de) supported by top scientists as well as the potential to pursue a PhD. You will be a part of a large and growing data science team within one of the most exciting research fields in terms of innovation and disruption potential.

## Job Purpose Data Engineer(s)
The Junior Data Engineer will play a crucial role in developing, maintaining, and optimizing our data infrastructure and pipelines. This entry-level position offers an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge data technologies and contribute to our data-driven initiatives.

## Job Purpose ML Scientist(s) / Engineer(s)
These senior positions will require persons to implement SOTA ML techniques for world model elicitation with the goals to create safe AI and enable hybrid / collective intelligence. Further, a drive to pursue a PhD is expected and will be supported. To that end, novel methodologies around AI modeling and agent-based systems will have to be developed and essentially be at the core of your research and development.
