Dear members and friends of the International Club,

we have free places for our visit to the former US listening station
"Teufelsberg" next week on Tuesday (14th May) in the late afternoon! You
will learn more about this place which played an important role in
West-Berlin for the secret services which could listen to Eastern Germany
and Soviet states during the Cold War from the Teufelsberg. The price is
5€ for members and 10€ for non-members. If you are interested, please
write us an email asap :-)

Furthermore, we would like to forward the announcement for the "European
Elections Champagne Meeting" on 22nd May, organized by the International
Office.

Liebe europäische Studierende, liebe Studierende aus aller Welt,

bald ist es so weit: am 26. Mai dürfen alle Europäer*innen an der
Europawahl teilnehmen!

Wir möchten euch anlässlich dieses bedeutenden Ereignisses zu einem Meet &
Greet Europe-Treffen einladen.
Für uns als Freie Universität ist Europa wichtig – vor allem auch wegen
des Erasmus-Programms, über das viele von Ihnen hier an die Freie
Universität gekommen sind oder an Partnerhochschulen in Europa gehen bzw.
gegangen sind. Ohne Europa gäbe es kein Erasmus-Programm und ohne
Erasmus-Programm wäre das Studium doch um einiges weniger aufregend, oder?
Ob Sie Europäer*in sind oder aus der ganzen Welt, wir freuen wir uns
darauf, mit Ihnen am Mittwoch, den 22.05.2019, mit einem Glas Sekt auf
Europa anzustoßen!
Wir treffen uns von 16 bis 18 Uhr im Foyer und Vorplatz des
Studierenden-Service-Centers (SSC) in der Iltisstr. 4, 14195 Berlin. Wir
werden bei dem Treffen alle Informationen zur Europawahl parat haben und
verteilen. Außerdem beantworten wir natürlich gerne Ihre Fragen zum Thema!

Der Internationale Club organisiert zusätzlich einen europäischen
Kulturabend anlässlich der Europawahl welcher am Donnerstag, den
09.05.2019, im International House (Ehrenbergstr. 26/28, 14195 Berlin) ab
18 Uhr stattfinden wird. Außerdem bietet der Internationale Club
Begleitung und gute Gesellschaft an für die Teilnahme an der Demonstration
"Ein Europa für Alle", welche am Sonntag, den 19.05.2019 um 12 Uhr am
Alexanderplatz stattfindet. Das Team trifft sich ab 11.45 Uhr an der
Dircksenstrasse/Ecke Karl-Liebknecht-Straße um gemeinsam zur Demonstration
zu gehen.

Dear European and worldwide students,

an important note: on May 26th Europeans get to vote in the European
Elections!

In celebration of this important event we would like to invite you
(Europeans and students from worldwide)  to our Meet & Greet Europe:
European Elections Champagne Meeting. Without Europe there would be no
Erasmus program and without the Erasmus program, our studies would be much
less exciting, right? This is why we’re looking forward to coming together
and having a toast to Europe on Wednesday, May 22nd 2019! We’re going to
meet from 4 to 6 pm in the foyer and courtyard of the Student Service
Center (SSC) at Iltisstr. 4, 14195 Berlin. We’re also bringing along a lot
of info material concerning the European Election and of course we’ll be
answering all of your questions about the matter!

Additionally, the International Club will organize a European Culture
Evening to honor the European Elections, which will take place on
Thursday, May 9th 2019 at around 6 pm at the International House
(Ehrenbergstr. 26/28, 14195 Berlin). The club will furthermore offer good
company for partaking in the demonstration “One Europe for All”, which
will start around 12pm at Alexanderplatz on Sunday, the 19th of May 2019.
The team will meet up at around 11:45 am at the intersection between
Dircksenstrasse/Ecke Karl-Liebknecht-Straße to join the demonstration
together.
