Do you want to be part of the team that designs and delivers the world’s
best browser? We are looking for an awesome Design System Engineer to join
our User Experience team. You will be contributing to the Firefox’s Photon
Design System in all of its technology aspects. Are you passionate about
enabling others to design and develop thoughtful experiences? As member of
our team you will craft and deploy new features that will support designers
and engineers in their daily work. As Mozilla Engineer you will:

   - Develop, maintain and scale the design system website
   - Add new functionalities to the icons website
   - Build Node modules for delivering design attributes across multiple
   engineering teams
   - Write web components following the documented guidelines
   - Collaborate with Firefox Front-End engineers and Firefox for Mobile
   engineers.

*Your Professional Profile*

   - Deep understanding of web technologies such as JavaScript, CSS, and
   HTML
   - Fluent with the latest web standards including HTML5 and ES6
   - Knowledge of the React JavaScript framework
   - Adept at handling ambiguous or undefined challenges through strong
   problem-solving abilities
   - Interest in working in the open and engaging with Mozilla’s global
   community.

*Pluses*

   - Knowledge of mobile languages
   - Familiarity with design systems
   - Familiarity with testing, quality assurance and automation concepts
   - Familiarity with Firefox theme API
   - Curiosity around the development of internal tools and services.
