Intern in Backend or Machine Learning Engineering (f/m/d)
YOUR TASKS AND EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES

  *   Work with the Applied Machine Learning team to develop, improve or deploy platforms for AI-driven analyses.
  *   Implement and test backend components.
  *   Work with other teams to integrate machine learning models into software applications.
  *   Communicate results and progress to the Applied Machine Learning team and other stakeholders.
WHO YOU ARE

  *   Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Data Science, or related field.
  *   Strong programming skills in Python, TypeScript or other programming languages.
  *   Familiarity with web frameworks like Fastapi, Django, Flask, React, Angular.
  *   Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
  *   Ability to learn quickly and work independently.
  *   Familiarity with medical image analysis, cheminformatics, or computational biology/bioinformatics
  *   Experience with deep learning models and frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.
  *   Experience with cloud-based data platforms such as AWS or AZURE.
  *   Familiarity with big data technologies such as Airflow, Hadoop, Spark or similar.
