The Osnabrück University of Applied Sciences invites applications for

4 PHD POSITIONS (0.5 TV-L 13)
IN THE TALENT ACADEMY “SMART FACTORY & PRODUCTS”

to start as soon as possible.

The Talent Academy “Smart Factory & Products” is part of the “Career Lab Hochschule Osnabrück” (CarLa; https://www.hs-osnabrueck.de/wir/jobs-und-karriere/wege-zur-haw-professur/ ) and acts as platform for promoting higher education qualifications in the field of “smart factory” and “smart products”. By involving both regional and international partners from business, science and society, the Academy aims to create a place for the lively exchange of expertise, the transfer of knowledge, and the joint promotion of early stage researchers and development of high potentials.

The Academy promotes independent research and the acquisition of qualifications in the context of a cooperative doctorate in partnership with an institution with the right to award doctorates, to be selected by the successful candidate. The main areas of applied research are as follows:

    - APPLIED DATA SCIENCE & AI
    - DIGITALIZED VALUE CHAIN PROCESSES
    - MOBILE ROBOTS – applied simulation, AI, and autonomy
    - SUSTAINABLE PLASTICS TECHNOLOGY AND SYSTEMS ENGINEERING

In addition to working on scientific projects and to develop your own qualifications further, we offer the opportunity to gain teaching experience and to take advantage of training programs for higher education didactics and interdisciplinary qualification.
