The IT division of the Charité has technical responsibility for all central applications in research, teaching, health care and administration. Within the IT division, the research and teaching department offers application and module support for the faculty's central IT processes and ensures the maintenance and further development of these IT processes. Together with the Vice Dean's Office for Studies and Teaching, an app is being developed to improve the evaluation of teaching as part of the Berlin Quality and Innovation Offensive (QIO).
Your task will be to design and implement the backend for a new evaluation application for studying medicine at the Charité. A high degree of technical understanding and critical thinking will be required to develop this application and integrate it into currently existing infrastructures in a scalable and seamless manner.
Your tasks:

  *   Implement API-interfaces, new features and services
  *   Be responsible for the integration of the application with Moodle and EvaSys
  *   Create thorough and detailed concepts
  *   Further analyze and develop existing processes/infrastructure

Your profile:

  *   A technical or university degree (preferably in computer science)
  *   Backend development experience
  *   Good knowledge about the design process and implementation of RESTful APIs
  *   Experience with PHP and Moodle development
  *   You enjoy working in a team and are used to working together in larger project groups, where you work on sub-areas in a committed, independent, responsible and flexible manner.
  *   A good command of German and English
  *   Strong analytical and conceptual skills
  *   Strong quality awareness

Nice to have:

  *   Experience with Evasys

Start date: 01.02.2022
Fixed term contract until: 31.12.2024 (funding period)
Working hours:31,2 hrs per week

Der Geschäftsbereich IT der Charité trägt die fachliche Verantwortung für alle zentralen Anwendungen in Forschung, Lehre, Gesundheitswesen und Verwaltung. Innerhalb des Geschäftsbereichs IT bietet die Abteilung Forschung und Lehre Anwendungs- und Modulunterstützung für die zentralen IT-Prozesse der Fakultät und sorgt für die Pflege und Weiterentwicklung dieser IT-Prozesse. Gemeinsam mit dem Prodekanat für Studium und Lehre wird im Rahmen der Berliner Qualitäts- und Innovationsoffensive (QIO) eine App zur Verbesserung der Evaluation der Lehre entwickelt.

Aufgabengebiet
Ihre Aufgabe wird es sein, das Backend für eine neue Evaluationsanwendung für das Medizinstudium an der Charité zu konzipieren und zu implementieren. Um diese Anwendung zu entwickeln und skalierbar und nahtlos in bestehende Infrastrukturen zu integrieren, ist ein hohes Maß an technischem Verständnis und kritischem Denken erforderlich.

Ihre Aufgaben:

  *   Implementieren Sie API-Schnittstellen, neue Funktionen und Dienste
  *   Übernehmen Sie die Verantwortung für die Integration der Anwendung mit Moodle und EvaSys
  *   Erstellen Sie sorgfältige und detaillierte Konzepte
  *   Bestehende Prozesse/Infrastruktur weiter analysieren und entwickeln

Voraussetzungen

  *   Ein technisches oder universitäres Studium (vorzugsweise Informatik)
  *   Erfahrung in der Backend-Entwicklung

  *   Erfahrung in der PHP- und Moodle-Entwicklung
  *   Sie arbeiten gerne im Team und sind es gewohnt, in größeren Projektgruppen zusammenzuarbeiten, in denen Sie Teilbereiche engagiert, selbstständig, verantwortungsbewusst und flexibel bearbeiten.
  *   Gute Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse
  *   Ausgeprägte analytische und konzeptionelle Fähigkeiten Ausgeprägtes Qualitätsbewusstsein
