Der Lehrstuhl IT-Sicherheit an der Brandenburgischen Technischen 
Universität Cottbus-Senftenberg 
<https://www.b-tu.de/en/fg-it-sicherheit> betreibt Lehre und Forschung 
im Bereich IT-Sicherheit mit starkem Fokus auf Netzwerksicherheitund 
Schutz der Privatsphäre (Online Privacy). Derzeit bietet der Lehrstuhl 
*zwei Studentenjobs* an, einen für die Unterstützung bei der Lehre und 
einen weiteren in einem Projekt im Bereich Künstliche Intelligenz / 
Maschinelles Lernen für Kritische Infrastrukturen. *

Telearbeit ist während der Beschäftigung möglich.*

*Ihr Profil:*

  * Gutes Verständnis von Netzwerkprogrammierung und -protokollen

  * Kenntnisse in mindestens einer Programmiersprache und einer
    Skriptsprache

  * Grundlegende UNIX/Linux-Kenntnisse

*Wir bieten:*

  * Eine spannende und herausfordernde Aufgabe im Zusammenhang mit einem
    aktuellen Forschungsprojekt

  * Möglichkeit, anschließend Co-Autor einer wissenschaftlichen
    Publikation zu werden

Dear Students,

The Chair of IT Security at the Brandenburg University of Technology 
Cottbus-Senftenberg <https://www.b-tu.de/en/fg-it-sicherheit> performs 
research and teaching in the area of IT Security with a strong focus on 
Network Security and Online Privacy. Currently, the chair is offering 
*two student jobs*, one for teaching and another one in a project in the 
area of artificial intelligence / machine learning for critical 
infrastructures.

*Remote work is possible during the employment.*

*Your profile:*

  * Good understanding of  network programming and protocols

  * Knowledge of at least one programming language and one scripting
    language

  * Basic UNIX/Linux skills

  * An exiting and challenging task related to a current research project

  * Opportunity to became a co-author of a scientific publication afterwards

  * Possibility to write a thesis afterwards (topics can be discussed
    individually)
