The DFG-funded graduate school "SOAMED - Service-oriented Architectures
for Software System Integration with Medical Application" offers five
fully funded open PhD positions, starting 1.4.2016. SOAMED currently has
more than 20 PhD students supervised by 12 professors from three
universities (Humboldt-Universität Berlin, Technische Universität Berlin,
Hasso-Plattner-Institut Potsdam) and Europe's largest university clinic,
the Charitè Berlin. PhD students pursue research in the area of modeling,
implementing, integrating, and analyzing distributed service-oriented
systems, with a focus on control-/data intensive applications in medicine.
