in unserem Graduiertenkolleg an der Universität Siegen sind bis zum 1.April
2011 vier neue Stellen (volle TVL 13 Stellen) zu besetzen. Die
Themenbereiche lauten wie folgt: THz Sensorik, Signaldatenverarbeitung
(synthetische Apertur), Gesichtserkennung und
Computergraphik/Visualisierung. Die Bewerbung erfolgt online über unsere

RESEARCH VACANCIES
------------------

In the Faculty for Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, the
following vacancies are to be filled until April 1st 2011

		4 Research Scientists
	(Full position, wage group 13 TV-L)

The positions are belong to the Research Training Group 1564 "Imaging New
Modalities", funded by the German Research Foundation (DFG), and are limited
to 3 years.

Your Tasks:
===========

The positions have research scopes in the fields of THz-Sensor Systems,
Signal Data Processing (synthetic aperture), Face Recognition, and Computer
Graphics/Visualization.

Your Profile:
=============

Applicants must be graduated in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or
similar (Master or
Diploma) with very good or excellent grade. We expect good English
knowledge.
For the research scope THz-Sensor Systems a profound knowledge in High
Frequency, Optics and strong experimental skills as well as good programming
skills are expected.
For the research scope Signal Data Processing a profound knowledge in
Communication Theory and Signal and System Theory as well as good
programming skills are expected.
For the research scope Face Recognition and Computer Graphics/Visualization
a profound knowledge in object-oriented graphics programming (C++) under
Linux/Unix or Windows and a profound knowledge on the mathematical basics of
Computer Graphics and Image Data Processing is expected.

Candidates will be given the opportunity to work on their PhD thesis.
