center at Emory University. The Center promotes and fosters collaborative
projects between software system researchers and scientific research
groups. We carry out a broad research and software development agenda in
high performance computing, biomedical informatics, Grid computing,
translational research informatics, and imaging informatics.
We are inviting applications for student or internship positions. We
focus on the design and implementation of next-generation open source
software systems that enable scientists and engineers to synthesize and
explore information from heterogeneous, distributed, and large datasets in
novel ways for discovery and decision making. Developers at the center
will work on an array of interesting and challenging technical projects
and design novel systems for data federation, semantic information
integration, data analysis workflows, and high end computing driven by the
requirements of leading edge scientific projects.
