RuleML Inc announces three awards (of $500, $300, $200) for the three best
RuleML Rulebases of 2015. This year's rulebases are solicited in Reaction
RuleML 1.0 or 1.02, Deliberation RuleML 1.01 or 1.02 or Consumer RuleML
1.02. Submitted rulebases can be about any domain of knowledge (example).
They may be translated from other languages (which must be mentioned in
submissions) but need to be cleared for possible publication on the RuleML
website in the source language as well as in RuleML 1.0/1.01/1.02 XML
syntax.

RuleML Specifications for Rulebase Competition 2015 Submissions:

- Deliberation RuleML 1.01 (1.02) - http://deliberation.ruleml.org/1.01
- Reaction RuleML 1.0 - http://reaction.ruleml.org
- Consumer RuleML 1.02 - http://consumer.ruleml.org/1.02

Evaluation criteria for rulebase submissions:

- Generally, the criteria of the main RuleML 2015 Challenge apply (see
http://2015.ruleml.org/challenge.html).
- Each rulebase must syntactically validate w.r.t. the schema for the most
specific RuleML sublanguage covering it in Relax NG or XSD.
- The semantics of rulebases should be demonstrated through test queries or
translation to the input format of a rule engine (possibly including the
specification of a Semantic Profile for Reaction RuleML).
- Their usefulness, efficiency, readability, and documentation should be
shown in appropriate ways.
