[Int. Club der FU] Semesterende / End of semester

Liebe Mitglieder des Internationalen Clubs,
nun neigt sich das Sommersemester wirklich dem Ende und wir hoffen, dass
eure Klausuren bzw. Hausarbeiten bisher ganz gut laufen. Toi, toi, toi!

Letztens haben uns ein paar von euch gefragt, was sie mit all den Sachen
machen könnten, die sie extra für ihre Zimmer hier in Berlin gekauft haben
und nicht mit nach Hause nehmen wollen/können. So etwas wie Töpfe,
Geschirr, Lampen, Handtücher etc.

Deshalb nun hier ein Vorschlag: Fragt bei Hilfsvereinen in den einzelnen
Bezirken an, ob ihr eure Sachen an Geflüchtete hier in Berlin weitergeben
könnt. Wichtig ist, dass ihr vorher Kontakt aufnehmt und fragt, was
wirklich gebraucht wird. Garantieren können wir natürlich nichts, aber
vielleicht habt ihr ja Erfolg und könnt ein paar Menschen glücklich

Dear members of the International Club,
Now the summer semester is really almost over. We hope that your exams and
papers have been going well so far. Good luck!!

Last week, we talked with some of you about what to do with all the things
you bought here but won’t be able to take home with you. Things like pots
and pans, cutlery, towels etc.

So here’s one suggestion: You can donate your stuff to organizations that
help refugees here in Berlin. It is important to contact the organizations
first to ask what is really needed. We cannot guarantee that they will be
accepting your donations but perhaps you will be able to find somebody who
happily would like to take your stuff. Below you find some useful links
