UNU-ISP seeks talented international candidates interested in solving global issues in a multicultural environment. The IC courses provide students with a solid grounding in the essential theories and multilateral approaches to issues of sustainability, development, and peace, while emphasizing interdisciplinary perspectives. The students also learn the institutional background and policy tasks of the UN system, and experience an analytical framework to study complex problems on the UN agenda. All courses are taught in a cooperative fashion by a team of international scholars and practitioners comprising both in-house and outside experts. One of the unique features of the IC is that many of the practitioners come from United Nations organizations. The deadline to apply for these courses is Friday, 15th June. More information can be obtained by visiting our website at http://isp.unu.edu/grad/credited/ic/index.html
The UNU also offers internships for versatile and enthusiastic undergraduates and postgraduates that are interested in learning about UNU-ISP activities. Interns gain valuable logistical, organizational and research support experience. This programme offers a chance to contribute to the cutting edge research projects being undertaken at UNU-ISP. Our internship programme has a rolling application process as long as interns can commit to two months at the UNU-ISP. For more information on our internships, please visit http://isp.unu.edu/about/internships/index.html
Please do not hesitate to contact me at lanuevo at unu.edu should you require additional information.
