Die Kombination ist so nicht möglich. Wenn /etc/rc.d/ip-up500.chrony 
ausgeführt wird und alles ordentlich konfiguriert ist, wird 
/etc/chrony.conf.first nach /etc/chrony.conf verschoben. Da diese Datei bei 
dir noch existiert, ist das ip-up-Ereignis entweder nicht aufgetreten, oder 
die Default-Route geht nicht über den Circuit, oder es ist etwas anderes 
faul. (Oder du hast den obigen cat-Befehl abgesetzt, bevor dein DSL-Circuit 
online war. Das ist natürlich auch möglich.)

Kannst du uns mal deine Circuit-Konfiguration zeigen? Und kannst du mal 
schauen, ob Meldungen wie

  failed to terminate chronyd ...
  now restart chronyd with '-r' as options
  now restart chronyd with '-r -4' as options
  chronyd is now 'online'
  error: chronyd is not running, skipping chronyc commands

im Circuit-Log auftauchen (Facility local3, evtl. also nur im allgemeinen 
/var/log/syslog zu finden, falls nicht separat gefiltert)?
