Ich habe in meiner Konfiguration beim T-Online-Smarthost auch 587 drin.

Das downloadet das Zertifikat auf Port 465, für Port 25 oder 587 muss der
openssl-Aufruf anders aussehen:

openssl s_client -starttls smtp -connect securesmtp.t-online.de:587
openssl s_client -starttls smtp -connect securesmtp.t-online.de:25
