Nachtrag. Schon beim Installieren bekam ich:

You must configure the PHP istallation inside the SETUP menu
setup -> 4. Service administration -> Apache2 Webserver ->
Configuration -> Module configuration -> php5 ->
PHP5_SAFE_MODE='no'
PHP5_MAX_POST_SIZE='8M'
PHP5_MEMORY_LIMIT='16M'
PHP5_EXT_MYSQL='yes'
and setup -> 4.Service administration -> Apache2 Webserver ->
2. Configuration -> APACHE2_DIRECTORY_INDEX='... index.php'
please read dokumantation

Now you can configure your cacti webserver root in the setup
After the setup you can connect to cacti via webbrowser
http://your-domain.tld/cacti
the first username is admin passwd admin
modifying parameter(s) ...
... read documentation for modified and/or added parameter(s)!
 please check the configfile and remove obsolete space character

und habe dies auch ausgeführt, bis auf PHP_SAFE_MODE='NO'

Denn diesen Parameter fand ich nirgendwo in der Apache2 Modules-PHP5
Konfiguration und auch nicht bei Pear & Co..

Akt. ist php5_cpp 5.3 Paket Version 1.1.1 Testing.
Base 2.0.3
Kernel 2.0.24

Sollte das verschlafene Update auf base 2.0.4 dafür verantwortlich sein?
Hab das eben nach geholt, kann es aber nicht recht glauben.
