The Biomechanics Research lab of the Julius Wolff Institute is seeking a

                                 Masters Student

in the fields of Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or Computer Science.

The responsibilities of the applicant include the implementation and
testing of
gait analysis software.

The goal of this project is to implement algorithms for the calculation of
kinetic and
kinematic parameters from clinical gait analysis. Candidates are required
to have
strong programming skills in the MATLAB environment, as well as basic
knowledge
of classical mechanics and its practical application through mathematical
algorithms.


Requirements:

Programming: Matlab (C++, Python are a plus), understanding of classical
mechanics
and conversion into algorithms.

The project will begin in January 2016 for a minimum of 6 months.
