Hi,

Perhaps you could explain further what you are trying to accomplish? 
Normally, you create your object reference and call object_to_string on 
it. Alternatively, as Oliver has pointed out, corbaloc URLs are also an 
option - this is further detailed in Chapter 3.2 of the ProgrammingGuide.
