[IP-OA_Forum] EMBO Molecular Medicine konvertiert zu Open Access

Ja in der Tat, die "Non Commercial"-Einschränkung ist eine unschöne 
Angelegenheit.

Ich habe bei Wiley nachgefragt und folgende Antwort erhalten:

    "We protect the commercial use of the content so that if someone is
    planning to make money out of the content, then yes, there are
    restrictions and fees involved with its reuse.  This helps us make
    money to invest into the journals and keep the article publication
    charge as low as possible.  For EMBO Molecular Medicine for example
    there are substantial Editorial costs to keep this journal running
    and we therefore need this potential revenue stream."

Auf Nachfrage, welche Einkommensquellen damit gemeint sind, wird auf 
Reprints verwiesen, welche beispielsweise von Pharmakonzernen bestellt 
werden.

Immerhin hat mich die Open Access Managerin von Wiley eingeladen 
Argumente zu liefern weshalb eine CC-BY Lizenz sinnvoller wäre. Gabs 
dazu nicht kürzlich irgendwo eine Diskussion?
